On March 11 & 12th, the consortium of the European project OPTOlogic organized a specialized workshop focused on Extreme Quantum Optics phenomena, the challenges, and potential solutions in the field.

More than 30 participants attended the two-day workshop, which included over 10 invited talks. These talks delved into identifying challenges in the field and exploring views, perspectives, theories, tools, and techniques that could advance the generation of quantum light states and enable arbitrary manipulation and characterization of light at the single-photon level.

The workshop featured invited speakers and participants from renowned institutions, including King’s College London, Max Born Institute, ENSTA, DIPC, Laboratoire d’Optique Appliquée, Solid State Institute, Technion Haifa, Max Planck Institute, École Polytechnique, CNRS, FORTH-IESL, and ICFO, among others.
