On March 11 & 12th, the consortium of the European project OPTOlogic organized a specialized workshop focused on Extreme Quantum Optics phenomena, the challenges and solutions that can so far be seen in the field.
The two workshop was attended by more than 30 participants, and included more than 10 invited talks that delve into pinpointing the challenges in the field and views, perspectives, theories, tools and techniques that could be developed to generate quantum light states and arbitrarily manipulate and characterize light at the single-photon level.
The workshop included invited speakers and participants from King’s College London, Max Born Institute, ENSTA, DIPC, Laboratoire d’Optique Appliquée, Solid State Institute, Technion Haifa, Max Planck Institute, École Polytechnique, CNRS, FORTH-IESL, and ICFO, among others.
